Sabine-Inken Schmidt
With 25 years immersed in the dynamic world of HR across global players in IT, Telecoms, Luxury Retail, Engineering and Professional Services, my journey has been driven by a deep curiosity about what truly makes organizations thrive. This passion ignited in 1990 with Peter Senge's The Fifth Discipline, sparking a lasting fascination with organizational learning and the art of impactful change.
My exploration of Transactional Analysis began as a quest for tangible tools to navigate the complexities of the HR Business Partner role – that often-ambiguous space where decisions profoundly shape organizational culture. This led me to achieve my CTA in 2015, and in 2019, I became a PTSTA (Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst in the Organisational Field), benefiting from invaluable training in Group Settings and with pioneers like Steiner, English, Erskine, Micholt and Schmid.
As a trainer at this institute, my teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in social constructivism. This means our learning journey together will be highly interactive and collaborative. Rather than passively receiving information, you'll be actively constructing your own understanding through dialogue, shared experiences, and applying concepts directly to your unique professional challenges. Think of it as a dynamic exploration where we build knowledge together, drawing on the collective wisdom in the room and your individual contexts.
My passion lies in illuminating the powerful connections between contemporary business topics – from agile leadership and digital transformation to fostering inclusive cultures and navigating organizational change – and the insightful models of Transactional Analysis. Furthermore, I enjoy bridging these TA frameworks with other relevant organizational development models, creating a rich and integrated understanding that offers practical and nuanced solutions. My aim is to equip you not just with theoretical knowledge, but with actionable insights and frameworks that you can immediately apply to drive positive impact within your organizations. I'm eager to engage with you and explore how this dynamic and interconnected approach can unlock new possibilities for growth and development.
